This is a great story. Two of the nicest people in the world were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, in spite of the odds. And in today's nutritional renaissance, developed the ideas and products to provide a natural alternative to the mass produced, nutritionally questionable baby food available in today's grocery stores.

This is a very cool idea. Although I never bought food for my baby I wish I had figured out some of these combinations for myself - would have made the carrots a lot easier. A good resources for families.
Thanks for telling people about us! The biggest thing that sets us apart from the big companies is that we don't can our food. As a new mom I really started looking at the nutritional value of the baby food in the grocery stores. At a time when our baby's cells are splitting the fastest they will ever split in their entire life we are feeding them nothing but canned food. In my unscientific opinion, I think that we are over feeding our babies calories, and under feeding them vitamins. Babies think that they are hungry, but really are craving nourishment. Canned food from time to time is not bad for you, but what if all you ate for six months was canned food? Our daughter is now 16 months old and eating table food. Tonight she pushed aside her risotto and wanted extra steamed broccoli. I’ll take that any day over turkey dinner in a jar. I have met many babies who will eat my food, but not the food in grocery stores. I have met moms who can't get their babies to eat most greens, but will eat our green food. Maternal Spirit has been successful in these areas and we hope to continue to provide a natural alternative to the mass produced food that you find at your grocery store. Healthy babies are a passion of mine and it will always be a passion of Maternal Spirit baby food.
